By House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) chided lawmakers Friday for a meeting the night before that devolved into a partisan shouting match between committee members and included personal attacks about intelligence and appearance.
Johnson told reporters that the incident was “not a good look for Congress” and that members need to treat one another with “dignity and respect” despite their political differences.
